Looking Up

The fact that I’ve posted several shots of this great old stairwell over the past few weeks will give you a clue as to how much I liked shooting it.

This shot is from the bottom floor looking up.

I posted the opposite view after my first visit to this building a few weeks ago (right). Click on the image for a larger view.

I love the decay and the haunting feeling this stairwell conveys. Each landing, from the first floor to the sixth, has its distinctly creepy personality.

Hmm … I just used the words “decay,” “haunting” and “creepy” all in one post. I think I may need to go photograph some flowers.
