Sunset at Jordan Pond

While mobs of tourists flocked to the summit of Cadillac Mountain to watch the big orange ball drop (also well worth the trip), Ryan and I chose to take it in from Jordan Pond.

I don’t think there a more peaceful, place at Acadia than Jordan Pond at sunset. We had it to ourselves. The only sounds we heard were a couple of kayakers and a few loons. Now that I think of it, maybe they were the same.
