Behind the Green Door

I have to admit up front that the title of this image is a cheap attempt to score additional traffic through the SEO value of known “adult entertainment” keywords.

It helps that the title fits the image as well, I guess.

This is the final image of the four I shot on the third floor of the abandoned school building back in August. If you are a regular visitor to my site, you’ll recognize the eerie green tone.

Actually, it was the first I shot in that series. At the time I thought, “please God, just let me get this one shot from this creepy place without getting murdered, or boarded in.” Then I went into another room and shot another image, thinking, “please God, just one more … ”

Then … well, you get the picture.

The other images from the series are here, here and here.

First off, I have no idea how the title fits with adult entertainment, that’s how far out of touch I am with things like that :)

Second…this is uber-creepy…and you have massive cajones to stand there praying not to be murdered.

I just don’t know if I could do that without an armed escort. In fact, if I ever did that stuff, I think I’d get a concealed gun license and carry that mug with me :)

Mike, I think you’re too young to know or remember, but when I was a kid (and I think Bob’s reasonably close to my age) “Behind The Green Door” was a famous, indeed notorious “adult entertainment” movie.
I’m inadvertently guilty of SEO-baiting on this basis as well, I’ve found out, as “street candids,” one of my blog’s most common keywords, is apparently a term of art, so to speak, for images of attractive members of a certain gender in, shall we say, immodest attire. Almost everyone who comes to my blog after searching for that phrase leaves after looking at the home page.

As for the image, Yikes, that is creepy. I think it’s the best in the series.
