What’s Old is New

After shooting mills together for 9 hours a couple of Sundays ago, It was impossible for Dave Wilson and me to walk away having shot completely unique subjects. So today, Wednesday and Friday of this week, Dave and I will be cross-posting some of the images we grabbed at the Stone and Everett Mills in Lawrence last weekend, starting with this simple utility cart. It has been here in the mill since I started shooting here in 2009 (well, much longer than that, I’m sure!). It always makes an interesting subject.
While Dave was framing one of his patented abstracts I moved the cart under one of the tiny skylights to set up this shot. About an hour later I found Dave shooting it as well. Different lens, different composition, but uniquely Dave. Be sure to check it out.
Excellent, Bob! Now I’ll have to go back and fix the blown-out highlight in my version, I guess 🙂
