A Duck at Oxbow Bend
We hit Oxbow bend for sunset one night on the NXNW trop to Grand Teton National Park. And it was a complete bust. The sky over the Tetons was drab through sunset. The mosquitos were plentiful, voracious and (seemingly) the size if helicopters. But it wasn’t a total loss.
While waiting (hoping) for the sky to bring some magic, I focussed my attention on a duck swimming in the Snake River.
This was photographed with my Olympus O-MD E-M1 with the Olympus 300mm f/4.0 Pro lens (rented) and the Olympus 1.4 Teleconverter. That gave me a full frame equivalent of 840mm. Oh … and it was hand-held.
