This was shot with the Nikon 24mm PC-E lens (tilt/shift lens) last week.

Building 540 at the Malden Mills features this amazing rounded end that dominates that section of the yard. It contrasts nicely to the surrounding buildings, especially the tower that rises up behind it. I have a couple of other shots it, so I’m not sure if this is my favorite or not.

I decided post this one because I liked the way the buildings all connected in the composition. I like the way Building 540 appears to emerge on its own from the others, more traditional buildings.  I also like the doorway on the right. It lends a sense of scale to these magnificent pieces of industrial era architecture.
