Our family trip to Ireland back in the fall of 2007 was pre-HDR for me. Its probably a good thing. I absolutely tormented my poor family with my desire to photograph everything we saw. They would have killed me if I stopped to set up a tripod and fire off brackets every 20 minutes!
Most of the photography I did on the trip was of the snapshot variety. Point and shoot. There were some exceptions. This is one of them.
I shot it on our only night in Dublin, on the way back to the hotel after dinner. I loved the look of the alley but thought it needed a human element. I let everyone go back to the hotel and hung around the alley waiting for someone to leave the Bachelor Inn Pub. Thankfully, one fine gent cooperated in short order.
