When there is nothing to shoot, just keep shooting.
I know, it sounds silly. But this floor of this building was not unlike other floors of other mill buildings I’ve shot. Support posts, wood planks, brick. My first thought was, “Been there done that. There’s nothing to shoot here.” But I kept shooting.
Yes, there is a certain sameness to many of these buildings, but each one is unique in its own way. And in 5 or 10 years this building, and others just like it may be condos, apartments, office or retail space.
Or they could be gone completely. So I keep shooting.
