Light Beckoning
When I shot it I didn’t think it was going to be a “keeper.” It was shot on a whim. I was wandering through a mill yard looking for subjects and saw an opening at the base of a smokestack, so I went in and looked up.
The smokestack is no longer active so there was no danger. Well, except maybe for those giant metal bars dangling above my head.
Awesome shot, love the symmetry and the feel – and especially the knot in my stomach at the fear of that stuff crushing my head. Well done.
Very cool, almost a surreal scene, not sure what you’re looking at.
Impressive!!
Love it! The lighting here is excellent – I would have expected major problems capturing detail in the brickwork all the way up to the sky highlight but this looks fantastic.
