Bolton Emerson Americas: Punching Out

no images were found

A 30 day shift in the machine shop is long enough for anyone.

When I started posting images from this place I did not anticipate that the series would last for this long. It just happened. Between the number of unique images I captured and the response to each post, I just kept going. And I could continue. But its time to move on.

So about he images. The top image is another of the many machines in the Heat Treat area. You gotta love the fabricated chair. Looks like it was once a simple bench. Eventually, the business end of a chair was added to to the bench to improve its comfort and make it a bit more practical.

The image below brings us back to where we started. This is the interior of the supervisor’s office I posted on Day One.

A big thank you to everyone who posted a comment, “re-tweeted” a post, or emailed about this series. I hope you enjoyed the series as much as I enjoyed presenting it.

Its probably not the last you’ll see of the Machine Shop. I have several images that remain unpublished and, in all likelihood, I will do more shooting in this amazing place in some of my future posts.
