The streets of Boston’s North End are really narrow. So narrow that they are almost all one way streets. If you don;’t know where you are going you can easily find yourself looping through the same streets over and over again. That’s exactly what happened last week when I met up with Brian Matiash for a mid-week shoot.
I thought I knew where I wanted to park, but had trouble finding it, so I wound up driving up and down the same streets about 37 times. The first couple of times I passed Dino’s really cool edifice I was just lost. The last couple dozen times … I was trying to figure out the best approach to shooting the building.
One of my favorite subjects: the triangle corner building. cool perspective, nice clean shot, and perfect time of day.
Love the distortion and the angle. Well done.
The distortion of the buildings and lighting add so much dimension to the shot. I love it.
Love the fishy shot! It takes you around the scene well!
