October 4, 2010 will mark the 100th anniversary of the completion of Lawrence’s Ayer Mill Clock Tower. It’s the city’s centerpiece. An icon. I’ve got a few shots of it already and am making an effort to grab a few more before the anniversary date.
This shot is from this past Wednesday morning – my first excursion to the roof of the Ayers Mill, on top of which the Clock Tower sits.
I was making my way back down to the ground floor at about 8:30 AM and couldn’t resist shooting the morning light spread across the ancient mill floor.
And, yes … I’ll post some images of the clock tower soon. Before the anniversary date.
Love the quality of light in this shot. Great composition as well, really like the diagonal look to the image.
Wonderful Bob, the lighting is simply perfect.
Had to come back…this is probably one of my favorite images of yours…ever. Amazing.
