I love old cars, but I can’t say I’m “into” them. I don’t have the desire to own one, or to frequent antique car shows. But when one drive by, it gets my attention. When they are standing still and I have my camera, I’m just drawn to them. Must be a guy thing.
A couple of months ago a 1956 Ford Fairlane Convertable made a stop in my neighborhood. I asked its owner if I could photograph his car and he graciously complied.
This is another one if those shots that I had queued up for a while, but never pulled the trigger on. Last night, while going through my catalog I came across it and decided to use it today.
Makes for a nice abstract image with more emphasis on color and shape than on the actual subject. Nice!
