The Word

Pulpit, Trinity Church, Boston. An appropriate shot for a Sunday, I think.

It is very rare for me to see something I want to shoot and instantly know how I want to compose it and envision the final image in my head. Even when I do, the final image rarely lives up to what I originally envisioned. That is probably due more to decisions I make in post processing.

Anyway, this is one of those rare cases where I saw what I wanted to shoot and instantly envisioned the finished image in my head.

And so it came to pass.

  1. Stunning shot! Great composition and outstanding post work. Thanks for sharing, Paul

  2. Love the perspective. It makes the pulpit look like balcony seating.

  3. Bob, this is outstanding! What a great perspective on the pulpit and what a great use of the fisheye! Of the shots I’ve seen from the collection we took that afternoon, this is definitely the most creative and spectacular so far.
