The Basin
no images were found
I took a quick overnight trip to the White Mountains this weekend in the hopes of grabbing some spectacular autumn foliage images. What I wound up with was a few shots of rocks and water. This is one of them.
The Basin is cool little granite bowl in Franconia State Park, home of the late Old Man of the Mountain, the iconic rock face that sadly crumbled back in 2003.
This is a single 13 second exposure, with some Lightroom adjustments.
Loving the water. Well done Bob!
Lovely contrast – the sharp textures of the rock against the smoothness of the water. Another beautiful shot.
I love the leaves in the bottom left, and the pebbles(?) underwater on the right, wonderful textures.
Bob this is great composition and processing…although, it’s just me, but I wonder how much more amazing it might look in black and white??
I love this. I need to find some good location sto use my ND filter.
