The Wrench

Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2011 brings you great things!

I wish I had a thematic image for today. But all I have to offer is another urbex mill shot. Appropriate for me, I guess.

This one is from Thursdays shoot at the Pacific Mill Machine Shop. It was different from the others. My first few visits were early in the morning. I would go there to shoot for an hour before work. Not really enough time explore the place. I would just gab a couple of obvious shots, pack up and head out.

This time, I was able to spend some time exploring the room and find new old things to shoot – like this wrench.

  1. I love it my friend. Even something that seems as innocuous as a wrench can be such an interesting subject when it’s the target of your lens Bob! You rock, my friend, really looking forward to seeing your work in 2011.

  2. Nice detail shot, the wrench is almost glowing – bit of a change from normal, so nice to see the variation.
I also often go off on a macro hunt at times when out, it amazing what you find sometimes when the field of vision is narrowed!
