Off Season: Bite Size Portions
As you’re approaching Salisbury Beach you can’t help but notice the abandoned arcade and miniature golf course on the left hand side of the road. The funny thing is, I don’t recall what it was like when it was operational. I’m sure I passed it dozens of times when it was an operating business, but I just don’t remember. I guess that says a lot about my priorities.
Anyway, the first thing on this spot that struck me was the hand written sign on this little concession stand. It was begging to be “miniaturized” by the tilt shift lens.
Not that I needed the extra motivation.
Nice! I love the new off-season series.
I’m just wondering: Bite-sized portions… of what?
Love the depth!
Love it…selective focus working well here.
Another great addition to the series Bob. I too like the selective focus, but also love the feel to these overcast shots!
great shot – the tS really works here. I’m iking the toning too – the muted colours work a treat.
Great shot, Bob! I, like the others, am digging the selective focus.
Thanks guys. Plenty more selective focus coming in this series. Hope you don’t get bored with it.
@rob … I have no idea what they sold at this stand. My guess is, like the sign, whatever they served was home made.
Love the gloominess conveyed in this shot, the selective focus is spot on, and there is enough texture in the cloud cover to keep the scene interesting. Keep em coming! 🙂
“Bite Size Portions” within a “Miniaturized” image. A concept within a concept; very clever, Bob!
Very cool shot!
