Off Season: Surf and Stone
Today’s image takes you just a few miles from Salisbury, Massachusetts to North Hampton, New Hampshire.
The seawall on the right runs right along side the road. At high tide, with heavy surf, the waves manage to crash over the wall onto unsuspecting pedestrians. On the day I shot this the surf was pretty rough, but not at critical mass. The tide was making it’s way out.
I walked out onto the rocky beach but had to be sure to stay close to the sea wall. Not out of fear of being swept out, but fear of the extremely cold water.
Nice capture, Bob. Looks a little different this time of year than it does during the busy Summer season! I love the mood.
Another beauty in this series Bob. Love the composition! Well done!
Great comp. Bob!
