I appreciate all the comments on yesterdays post of the Flatirons. All the kind words prompted me look more closely at those images from Boulder, so here is another one, reprocessed last night. It was taken in the same 3 hour period as yesterdays shot, as I was waiting for the clouds to clear the Flatirons.

I didn’t think much of it at the time, and I wasn’t doing this Blog in 2009, so it sat there.

Its a faux HDR derived from a single RAW file. The layering of the foothills caught my eye, along with the wonderful cloud cover.

I decided on the sepia treatment because … well … because I thought it worked with this image.

  2. I’m really enjoying your Boulder shots, since I live pretty close. Have you ever shot at Red Rocks? I thought you’d enjoy it when I saw these.
