Long Shot

It occurred to me that I’ve never (or rarely) posted any images of the exterior of the Stone (front) and Everett Mills so I went there yesterday on a mission. I also decided to give my 80-200 mm lens some exercise.
This was shot from the neighboring office building, coincidently, another mill building that had been refurbished a few years ago. I wanted to get a shot that highlights the differences between the two buildings. I thought compressing them together in a long shot might do the trick.
Nicely done. You need to share this locale with me someday soon! 🙂
I love that ladder running all the way up the side of the building and continuing up the slope of the roof. It’s a great point of interest
Really nice. Love the framing and tones.
Love the way you composed this shot. The roof tiles break up the different brick patterns… really nice!
This is fantastic Bob!
really nice brickwork – contrasts between the two buildings is great
