Everett Steps

[singlepic id=1280 w=850 float=center]

A fisheye stairwell for today.

You may recognize it. I’ve shot this stairwell, in the Everett Mill, a few times before. This was my first time back in a while, so I gave it the fisheye treatment. I didn’t have much time to really study the stairs with that well (or the three other stairwells, for that matter) so I’m sure I’ll be back.

  1. I do believe I have witnessed these steps in another photo, only from a different perspective 😉 I really like all the white/gray dust covering that deep dark wood. This is a great shot!!

  2. A lot of nice compositional decisions in this image. My wife doesn’t understand why I want to plan our travel around an old mill? Thanks as always Bob!

  3. Ah – happy memories of HDR Tennis games past! Nice version, Bob. I love the fisheye distortion here (though I’m still not out of my fisheye honeymoon so I guess I’m biased).
