Somewhere in Colorado

Saturday morning is as good a time as any to poke through the archives and revisit old images.

This one is from the 2004 TREK USA Relay. The first runner in the first group had already started out, kicking off another day of running. The group I was driving to our starting point, about 75 miles out. We had just crossed the  border into Colorado when I happened to look out the window of the RV and spotted the gorgeous clouds and rolling ridge. Usually content to relax, run and shoot only when we were stopped at the running exchange points, I insisted we stop so I could shoot.
