The Stone’s Long Light

A mill image is appropriate for today. My show, Threads of Time, opens today at the Lawrence History Center. Technically, its been open for a week, but tonight is the “opening reception.” There will be wine. There will be cheese. There will be photographs hanging on a wall. So, if you are within driving distance of Lawrence, Massachusetts, feel free to stop by the Lawrence History Center, 6 Essex Street, between 6:00 and 9:00 PM tonight. I’d love to see you.
Shameless plug aside, this image was taken back in February on a very sunny Saturday on a shoot with my friend, Jacob Lucas, who was visiting from Seattle.
I wish I could say this was in the show, but I just processed it last night.
Maybe next time.
Can never get enough of these shots Bob
Wish I was in the area. I would love to go…not for the cheese though 🙂
Great shot. Really digging the window light on the floor and texture on the floor.
Wish I was in the neighbourhood 🙁 Hope all goes well at the opening night for you…I have no doubt everyone in attendance will be wowed by your images!
Such an awesome shot, but one question, what is that little bit of color on the bottom right window? I hope the show is a rousing success for you as well!
Thanks guys, @chris .. that little spot of color is a bit of paint. I may clone it out.
The light on the floor is awesome. Nice capture.
that is an excellent image, and congrats on the show!
Awesome shot, Bob!
Nice Bob! Good luck on the show. I’d love to see it, but I don’t think that would be practical.
I can’t get enough of your vision in the place. As always, thanks for sharing!
Bob, super sweet! Wish we had places like this in Austin!!
Oh I wish we were there with you at your show, Bob! What an incredible body of work! We’re so very happy for you my friend. This image is just incredible…. LOVE the light dancing on the floor there. Perfect composition and post-processing my friend, this is truly a classic!
I love those shadows Bob. Great job!
Love this image Bob!
