The Fury
Here is the scene under the bridge at Lawrence’s Great Stone Dam this past Friday night. The calming effect of a long exposure on water doesn’t do it justice, but does make an interesting image. The water was only inches below the concrete platform — about three feet higher than just a week ago.
On another note:
As promised, here are a couple of images from the show opening last Wednesday night. Thanks to the Lawrence History Center for providing the images.

I like this one is much darker and more mysterious then the previous photo you posted from this location.
This is absolutely amazing photography! At first when I looked at it, I had no idea what it was, but that did not matter one bit. What mattered was that when I went to your webpage to take a peek at what I might have missed today, this image made my jaw drop. Love the mystery in this shot, as so many thoughts came to mind: the books/movie ‘Dune’; the Sahara desert; snow drifts; and more! Awesome!
Love the light angled across the falls! absolutely wonderful Bob!
That’s a pretty special image – very mysterious and dark. Awesome work
