Dipping back into my images from the Duck Mill, a cool old building in Lawrence that will be making the transformation to residential space over the next couple of years. I visited it back in April with my friend and frequent shooting partner, Brian Matiash.
As I flipped through the images, I was shocked to see how many shots I took with the fisheye. Then I remembered how much fun it was shooting with the fisheye in that building.
Go with the flow.
Absolutely love the composition on this Bob – the diagonal leading lines on the left and right are fantastic.
Simple, elegant, nicely done!
This is such a different use of the fish. Totally dig it.
Excellent! Really creative use of the fish eye. I don’t think I’ve seen the background fish eyed like that before. Makes a great composition!
Love the point of view and the warm glow of the brass. A totally different take on the mill.
I like how this shot was put together. The colors are great and the blur is good.
Absolutely love this shot Bob!
great PoV – very good indeed – super symmetry and excellent use of the fishy.
Great DoF! Love the close-up shots with the fisheye! Great work.
That is awesome!
What a great composition! Nice job Bob!
This is just so damn good Bob, I could kiss you.
What a great mix of composition Bob. The fish look with incredible detail in the light fixture.
Fantastic shot! The fisheye really works with the lines of the beams and the windows!
Really appreciate the kind words! Thanks so much!
Love this, Bob. It looks like the room is bowing around the focal point…just awesome.
Absolutely incredible work here Bob!
