The Point
Above the observation deck in the tower is one more level. Well, two. Both are within the roof. The uppermost level is the smallest. It has six triangular windows that seem to overlook all of New England. I wanted to grab a shot from one of these windows and before I could look out all of them, Sam said, “did you look out this one?” Â Good eye, that Sam. This was the one to shoot.
What you are looking at is the peak of the section of the tower that encases the spiral staircase.
I’m going to wind down this series over the next couple of days and I have three images to present. Four actually, but one of them I think I want to re-shoot on another visit.
So either tomorrow or Friday I’ll be posting two images of the tower. After that, I will be away for a week and (I hope) posting from North Carolina. Probably iPhone images via iPhone App.
We’ll see how that goes.
Holy smokes Bob..what an awesome image today! Love this perspective..well done my friend!

Best wishes on your break there, Bob, I hope you have a nice time! This shot here is astounding, my friend. I can’t get over how dramatic your framing is using the window like that! Awesome work.
