Bald Head Boat House
no images were found
One of the highlights of my trip to North Carolina was a planned photo excursion with my friend, Rob Hanson. Rob is a talented photographer from New Bern, NC via New Jersey and other exotic places and a great guy.
Our day’s shoot took us to Bald Head Island to shoot Old Baldy, the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina. Shooting it got us both put of the sun, but not out of the humidity. Boy, was it hot in there!
You’ll see images of the lighthouse, but today’s image is shot of an old boat house on the island.
It was the last place we shot before getting onto the ferry back to the mainland.
While I was taking this shot Rob grabbed a shot of me taking the shot. You can check it out on his site. Thanks Rob!
Fantastic old house there Bob and you’ve framed it quite nicely! Wonderful sky, too!
Very nicely done, Bob. “Did you do something with the color?” ;^))

Looking forward to sharing another brew or two with you someday.
Great cloud formations, and I really love the low-key B&W processing. Nice work Bob.
I have been a fan of Rob’s work for a long time. And now after seeing your work I must say I am a fan of your work as well. Wonderful image!
Such an awesome mono shot today. Relaxing.
That is just FULL of interest and character, Bob, fabulous capture my friend! The composition is absolutely spot on.
Great shot Bob – love the drama in those clouds!
Sounds like you guys had a blast. Love the bw processing.
