I’m doing a photographic study of a local mill building for the owners. Heritage Place in Lawrence was purchased, gutted and converted to commercial office space about a decade ago. Great for the owners, bad for me. I prefer to get to these buildings while they are in their original, unfinished state. I did a walk through with the building manager hoping to find areas that still had the some of the original features. However, outside of some bare original brick walls, it was all pretty modern.

They did a magnificent job of modernizing the building’s interior. The exterior maintains it’s 19th century industrial charm.
