Blades and bits line the shelves of the Tool Crib at BEA. But don’t ask me what machine uses these really cool blades. I couldn’t tell you.
I found them when I was poking through the Tool Crib a couple of weeks ago. They were in a cabinet that I had walked past a dozen times before I bothered to open the door.
This looks like the makings for a drill used to bore into the center of a planet in a sci-fi movie. Loving it.
Yeah, makes me wonder what actually uses these things. They look huge. Nice shot BTW 🙂
They are for cutting gears – they are called involute cutters.
