The Crosswalk
[singlepic id=1593 w=865 float=center]
I know, its an odd title for an image like this. No road, crosswalk, people or cars. I shot it on my run through New York a couple of weeks ago.
I was stopped at a crosswalk (thus the title) in Lower Manhattan when I noticed the cool building directly across from me. When I looked up through the viewfinder, I caught the more modern building directly behind me. The juxtaposition of the new and old was enough for me to grab a shot, but the light post that snuck into the frame really put it over the top for me.
Hope you like it too.
The light post looks like it’s spying on you! Great perspective Bob – awesome as always!
Very cool perspective, Bob. The black & white treatment really makes this image.
I like how the light looks so out of place and yet it feels like it is excited to say hi to your viewers. Love it!
Great architecture…the street light almost reminds me of a shower head haha. Like it.
Sweet shot man. I like how the lines and elements lead you in and out of the frame.
Love those lines!! Fantastic!
