Little House at Rocky Neck
no images were found
Found this little run down cottage on the edge of the Rocky Neck section of Gloucester, Massachusetts. Actually, +Mike Tully spotted it and pulled over. He thought it would be the perfect subject to test the capabilities of my 14mm lens. I love a good challenge.
With the exaggerated proportions the lens produced, I thought the imaged needed a “storybook” feel.
After tonemapping in Photomatix, I brought the image into Photoshop. I added one curves layer for overall contrast, one for selective contrast in the fence and a third saturation layer to bump up the saturation in the ivy on the left and the picket fence. I then brought the image into +onOne Software and added a touch of glow and a big soft vignette.
