The last time I shot in this mill yard was with my friend Brian Matiash, probably about a year ago. It was a “go to” spot for a quick industrial urbex shoot, usually followed by a beer or two, of course.
Today, this sprawling complex is almost entirely surrounded by temporary construction fence as work has begun to convert some of the buildings to condos or apartments. Sad to me, but I guess inevitable.
Anyway, I went out the other night for an impromptu shoot and walked onto the property around dusk (there were gaps in the fencing). I grabbed a couple of shots of this funky entrance. It is my favorite corner of this mill yard.
Ah, nice one man. Like the little effect added to it with the selective focus.
Beautiful light and tones Bob.
Great shot, this is very attractive… Very warm in my eyes…
