Spicket River
Another shot from my weekend photo walk through the mill yard.
For this shot I braved the construction rubble and scampered under a footbridge spanning the Spicket River in Lawrence.
In my head, I saw it as an HDR shot. I got home and processed as such and it was fine … blog worthy, I thought. But it lacked a sense of drama for me.
I went back to the “zero” exposure and brought it into Nik SilverEfex Pro for BW conversion.
There, that’s better.
Well, you got plenty of drama in this b&w, Bob. I really like the composition. Very well balanced!
Like a troll with a camera 🙂
I kid! Awesome shot man, like the perspective.
I came awfully close to calling the image ” A Troll’s View” 🙂
Hey Bob, I think the BW was a good choice. Nice!
definitly a shot worth hanging on the wall! Im a fan of Niks SilverEfex too, and you did a great job here with it.
