Along the Line

Rounding up a week of Lawrence Mill images. This one is from the Stone Mill in Lawrence. It was the last shot I grabbed on a short but productive shoot with Steve PerlmutterĀ a few weeks back.
With the fisheye on the my camera, I went very low for this shot. Judging from Steve’s laughter, I’m sure I looked as contorted as my tripod as I strained to get low enough to frame the shot and focus. And I don’t think I framed it exactly as I had in mind, but I’m happy with it.
Laughing then, but jealous now. Love the way this turned out. We have to get back there again sometime soon.
nice contrast there, how did you manage to balance the light there? Great idea with the lead-in, walks you nicely into the doorway. thanks for sharing.
Thanks Barney. I balanced the light through HDR here. The shot is comprised of 7 exposure.
