In 16-35mm f3.5, boston, Cityscape, long exposure by Robert Lussier3 Comments

I had a fantastic time shooting the skyline of Boston on Saturday night with two friends and very talented photographers, Dave Wilson and Rich Williams. Dave was was here on business from Austin, TX and built in a couple of extra days to shoot. Rich and I were happy to oblige!

For me, shooting with people whose work I admire can be both invigorating and intimidating! While it is not a competition, I always want to bring my “A Game.”┬áDave’s architecture and abstract work blows me away and nobody is better at capturing classic cityscapes and candid portraits than Rich.

This might be my favorite shot from the night. I used my Lee Big Stopper 10 stop ND filter quite a bit early in the evening. Thought the BW conversion fit well here.
