A long day of shooting the mills in Lawrence on Sunday with Dave Wilson began at the Pacific Mill. My original plan was to hit the Stone Mill first. But after I picked him up at the train station around 9:45, I thought I’d drive him past some of the other mills in town to give him a taste of Lawrence’s industrial landscape, which (as it turns out) is very similar to that in his home town back in Scotland (more on that in a later post). The Pacific Mill was the first stop. The late morning light bouncing off the walls of the mills proved too compelling to walk away from. We spent the next two hours shooting the Pacific.
Nice comp and tones in this.
