I’m sure I’m not alone. I’m sure there are other photographers out there who fight the same battle I do. I’m talking about the never ending fight for a clean, dust free image sensor. I’ve swiped and swiped with pre-moistened swabs, and fancy fluids. And I’ve tried to blow dust of the sensor with the Rocket Blower, threatening national security in the process. And yet, after every attempt to wipe, swipe and blow my way to a dust and blemish free sensor, I am still a slave to Photoshop’s Healing Brush. With every image.
At least I was. On Sunday with this image, I turned a page. From now on, I will only shoot through dirty old mill windows. Problem solved.
Seriously, this is one of the last shots I grabbed on Sunday on my shoot with my friend Dave Wilson. We shot the mills for a solid 7 hours with one break for lunch. It was a long and productive day.\
