The Ranch at Grass Valley: The Bunk House

I couldn’t post one of these images without posting the other. They just go together and help tell the story so well.

The bench outside the building was the first clue. When I went inside and saw the heater / stove in one corner and the remnants of a bed (not seen here) in another, I concluded that this must have served as home to a ranch hand or two.

  1. Absolutely without peer, Bob! What a GREAT pair of shots here! I am totally lovin’ the rich details and textures. Tons of great stuff to let the eye settle on and take in, not to mention that you’ve created a complete story here with two photos! Absolutely epic, my friend.

  2. Beautiful work, Bob. I especially like the first one. The processing you did on the whole Nevada set is just amazing, I love the look.

  3. Man, these are bringing back some great memories of our recent trip there. I’d love the head out there with you sometime. Keep them coming!
