I honestly didn’t realize how many decent shots I got from this mill when I started posting images again from here this week. This is another of the machines that did something to the fine metal teeth of the fabric “combs” that were manufactured here. That is about as detailed as I can get, given the little insight I have.

It is probably safe to say at this point, the mill is located in Andover, Massachusetts. When I was invited to shoot it in by a family member, I was asked to not talk too much about it on my Blog. The company was in the process of shutting down, and they didn’t want to much information out there. I think I honored that request. I hope I did.

I’ll wind up this mini series tomorrow with another detail shot then move on to something else for next week. Most likely, I will be revisiting this place on the blog in the new year.

On another note:
If you are from the Lawrence, MA / Merrimack Valley area, or just a fan of my mill photography, you might be interested to know that I am working on a 2013 wall calendar of my mill photography. The images will span about three years of shooting these industrial icons. It should be available for purchase early next week. Just in time for Christmas!
