Washington Monument

[singlepic id=2105 w=750 float=center]

This looks like it will be my final blog post of 2012, so I’ll leave you with a shot of the Washington Monument from my October trip to DC. There is no significance to it, I just liked the stark black and white of this late night shot.

2012 was a very productive year for me. I did more traveling than I expected, allowing me to shoot places that have been on my ever-growing wish list for a long time (I still have many unpublished images from both Nevada and England, which I will be rolling out in the early part of the new year). Along the way, I got to shoot with old friends and new.

I look towards 2013 with high expectations, but I don’t think the travel will match this past year. I’ll be focussing my camera on my native New England, primarily, but hope to squeeze in another trip out west. I’m also thinking about some local projects incorporating the Mills of Lawrence. Not sure how they will pan out, but stay tuned.

I want to thank everyone who stops by here on a regular basis, or gets my RSS feed. Your support, comments and emails mean a great deal to me and help to keep me engaged with my craft.

I’ll see you all in 2013.

  1. One of your very best pieces, Bob! Love the aspect ration and how much dimension it adds. Great drama in the b&w, and it all comes together with a super-sweet reflection. Brilliant!
