Stone Smokestack

Happy Friday everyone! I thought I’d end the week with another re-processing of an older image. I used the same technique on this that I used on yesterday’s image, maybe with some slight differences. This is, of course, the Stone Mill in Lawrence, MA.
Lawrence was the country’s first planned city and the Stone Mill was a big part of that plan. It was the first mill building built in the city, originally as the Lawrence Machine Shop, manufacturing steam locomotive engines, then equipment used in the textile mills.
Eventually, The Stone was converted to a textile mill. Apparently, the plan was complete.
The Stone Mill is on the National Registry of Historic Places.
Love the shadow play in this Bob, nice work man! time is ticking Moab soon!!
I really like the desaturated look from this effect, and what it does to the skies. Really nice work.
