Webs

I spent more time than I should have going through old images this past weekend. Especially given dozens of other things I should have been doing with that time. Procrastination — it’s not just a word, it’s a lifestyle.
I tell myself I can justify the procrastinating if I find a couple of images for the blog that I originally overlooked. I did. This is one of them. I went back the furthest for this one — 2009.
I was roaming one of the mill neighborhoods in Lowell Massachusetts looking for something to shoot. I was originally drawn to the entire gate. And I think I shot it. But the spider web woven in the web-like iron work of the gate drew me closer. At the time, I remember thinking it was a cool juxtaposition. I shot it, then I promptly forgot about it.
Glad I found it.
Love that spider web Bob.
Very nice find, both the first and second time.
Thanks Mark and Len!
One of my favorite pastimes, going back through old images. 🙂
In your case, it certainly paid off nicely, Bob.
