Windows

For today, another detail shot from the Stone Mill. This one is from a short shoot with my partner in the Workshops, Steven Perlmutter. Follow that link, BTW, if you want to see a cool textured shot of the Stone Mill.

Anyway, on the day I shot this I was seeking out more details than wide, sweeping shots. But what I realized when I was processing it was, I kind of got a little of both. What piqued my attention initially was the veins in the old glass of the window panes. I set my camera on the sill and focussed on the glass. When I looked at the LCD, I was also drawn past the focus point to the soft windows of the Everett, across the way.

There are endless compositions to be had here. That is for sure.
