Wood Chips

In 24mm PC-E, mills, urbexby Robert Lussier2 Comments

I got a sneak peak at a mill in Lawrence that I hope to see more of soon.

Two thirds of the building are either completely renovated or currently under construction.  The remaining third is … well … pretty raw. But not as raw as I expected.

The floor I was treated to appeared to have been home to a company pretty recently — vacated less a decade ago. The once open mill space was systematically divided into offices. The high wood ceilings hidden by hideous 1970’s drop ceiling tiles. And the gorgeous wood floors covered by hideous green carpet.

The one section of any photographic interest to me was this room.

I am hoping get access to the other sections of this great old building.

About the image title … I’ll explain later.
