Eagle Lake
I’m trying to plan out a few days of hiking with my son, Ryan this summer. It will probably be just a few short days or a long weekend in the White Mountains, but it made me nostalgic. When he was a bit younger, the hiking trip was a full blown camping trip, usually to Acadia National Park in Maine — a hidden jewel in the National Park system. I went back to the archives and reprocessed a couple of older images for today’s post.
Both of these images come from the same 2008 trip to Acadia. I believe they were taken from the summit of a short hike that affords some great views of Eagle Lake and Bubble Pond.
The top image is a view of Eagle Lake. Below is a panorama showing Bubble Pond and Eagle Lake. And if you look closely in the top right you’ll see my son Ryan.
Wonderful! This post has got me juiced!!
