Acadia Fog

Alternate title: Fog Mountain

This is from the archives. It was taken in 2009 in Acadia National Park on day where a dense fog hovered at sea level for almost the entire day, drifting over the Porcupine Islands. I’ve posted images from the day already. It is the day that started with a particularly nasty fishing trip and ended with some pretty interesting photography.

This image sat untouched for the longest time. I’ve scrolled past the original RAW image dozens of times but barely noticed it until last night when I saw the potential for an abstract black and white landscape image in the fog.

Hope you like it!

  1. Love this Bob, man really nice. Bad news due to some health issues both me and our pet looks like we are putting off our Acadia trip, this year anyway. Seeing this makes it really sad.
