Pemberton
I’m off to a slow start this week, but here we are.
I’ll kick it off with a shot of the Pemberton Mill I took this summer on a Historic Mills Photo Walk. I lived the angle, but I wasn’t thrilled with the cloud pattern initially. But it grew on me. So it is here. Hope you like it.
On another note, I am going into full beg mode. But for a good cause.
On October 27, 2013 I will be running the Marine Corps Marathon. It marks a comeback for me, since injuries have kept me away from marathoning for over 18 months! I may be a little older and a little slower, but I am back, and I am thrilled!
Since its inception, Team Chris has honored that mission by providing material support to active duty soldiers in the combat theater and helping to fund other like-minded organizations.
This year, the fundraising efforts of Team Chris’ Marine Corps Marathon participants will go towards the training and placement of a service dog through America’s Vet Dogs (www.vetdogs.org). With the cost of training one service dog falling between $35,000 and $45,000, it is an ambitious goal. And with your help, it is achievable.
Please help me meet my personal fundraising goal of $2000.
