Maudslay

This is something from the Transport Museum in Coventry, England.
For the longest time Coventry was England’s Detroit. I mean that in the context of its automotive production, not the urban blight that Detroit is today.
The bombing of Coventry is one of German’y’s most devastating attacks on England and the subject of an incredible conspiracy theory … did Churchill know?
Either way, Coventry’s Transport Museum is a fantastic take!
This particular shot was one of the last I grabbed that day. It is a BW study of a Maudslay Bus. Or is it a Lorry? Whatever it is, it is a double decker. Probably 1940’s era.
Love this comp!
