Zeiss Ikon

A couple of more images from my weekend macro shoot. A shoot I thoroughly enjoyed, by the way. There is something cool about looking at things at a macro level — the ordinary becomes extraordinary through a macro lens. I’ve only dabbled in this macro world before, but plan to spend more time exploring it.

So, these shots … They are detail shots of another vintage camera I own — a Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 533/16, medium format camera. This model was made virtually unchanged from the mid 1930s to the mid fifties, according to Camerapedia.
