NXNW 2014: The Watcher

[soliloquy id=”13482″][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″]This was taken on the Friday of NXNW weekend back in October at Eastern Point Light in Gloucester, MA.

While I was out on the breakwater shooting long exposures, Justin and Armando scrambled up closer to the lighthouse. Justin jumped up on a concrete platform (or whatever it is) to survey the ocean that was raging around us. When he was done, Armando took a turn. I adjusted my framing a bit to get this shot of Justin. Or Armando. Can’t remember which.

Speaking of Justin and Armando, be sure to check out their The Photo Frontier. The site is filled with tutorials, tips and reviews. They sell amazing Lightroom presets and offer educational and fun e-Books. All photography related. They also highly motivated, adventurous, creative and fun people to be around.

And don’t miss their Artisans of The Frontier series, which features some great talent! This week they are featuring my friend, Mike Criswell. You don’t want to miss it!

  1. This is a beautiful frame Bob. Love the black and white conversion, the look of the ocean and the human element! Really well done!
